Our students apply to and attend graduate schools in the health professions that are most certainly transformational. Belonging to an underrepresented community adds a layer of complexity that we as advisors address to help them make informed decisions. We all have differing areas of expertise that we bring to the profession but none of us is an expert in all areas. CAAHP Advisors can now engage in a series of chats that will address challenges and provide practical tools to support our students. Each date of the series will have a Diversity Equity & Inclusion area of focus, a takeaway tool to use with your students and a program representative that provides sample insight into resources.
