TOPIC: Application Review – A Peek Behind the Curtain

CASE STUDY DESCRIPTION: These highly interactive, virtual workshops will provide advisors with a candid, insider’s look into the application review and decision process for graduate and health profession programs. Admissions representatives will share case studies that highlight the key components of the application review process, including the academic, extracurricular, competency development, and non-cognitive criterion considered. Advisors will have an opportunity to reflect on how they would assess each case and gain insight into the different methods used by admissions committees to identify a diverse and qualified pool of students who are likely to succeed within their respective programs and health profession careers. Presenters have been prepped that advisors understand the mechanics of the various centralized applications; our time together will focus on what happens “behind the curtain.” 

CERTIFICATE OPTION:

• Live Webinar Attendees and Series completion: Use the Key Words from the live webinar(s) to go directly to and take the Key Word Assessment and receive a Certificate of Completion. If you missed a webinar you will have the opportunity to view the recording and gain the Key Word before moving on to assessment.
• Recording Viewers and Series Completion: Will need to view each Health Profession's recording and then use the included Key Words to take the Key Word Assessment, finalize the series and receive a Certificate of Completion.

Key Words match those provided in the webinars. The assessment is multiple choice, attempts are unlimited and 8 out of 11 Key Words are necessary to pass. Live Webinar Attendees may want to review the recordings to ensure they have the correct Key Words.
