How to Create a Pre-Health Advising Course (AHP-SF100)

What exactly is a health professions advisor? Brooks (2023) states that “A health professions advisor provides support for students on their unique health professions path”. Aside from 1:1 advising, which many times limit the number of students that can be seen due to the workload capacity per advisor, group advising or a for credit class can help reach more students.

Throughout this course, you will gain knowledge and understanding of the importance of advising course, NAAHP’s best practices, and how to build advising courses.
